Aloha Gang! I hope you all had a prosperous and successful Weds. If not let today be your bounce back day. As I stated in my last thread, I finally have put together two solid back to back days. My record in the those two days is 13W-4L= +30 Units. I took yesterday off, as I couldnt see any game I liked. Funny, usually big card do that to me. Anyway, today's card is a little smaller, and I guess that is why I was able to find those mouth watering games today. In fact, I found 9 games I like , but 3 stand out for me and they all fit into my POW criteria which I like very much. Anyway, enough talking already. LETS ROCK-N-ROLL BABY!
6 Unit Big Sky, Sun Belt, & Pac-10 Plays of the Week on:
N Arizona -7 (Big Sky)(BLOWOUT WINNER)
Middle Tenn St. -6 (Sun Belt)(LOSE)
Arizona St E (Pac-10)(LOSE)
-N Ariz is 5-2 at home, scoring 81 ppg and 49.2% from the field. They are also holding its opponents to a LOW of 65.6 ppg and a shooting LOW of 38 FG%. Montana is 1-8, scoring 68 ppg on the road, but is allowing its opponents to score a WHOPPING 81 ppg and 48.6% from the field. N Ariz has a deeper bench, and returns 4 starters back this year. They have produced to become the #1 Scoring Offense in the Conf, and #1 in draining 3 pointers per a game with 8.7. N Ariz is 6-0 SU over Montana since 1997, and they are 2-0 SU and ATS at home over Montana in the last 3 seasons. N Ariz not only dominated over the years, but they simply have to much Offense for Montana to match up. Easy cover and win for them today.
-Middle Tenn St is scoring 79.2 ppg and shooting 46.5% from the field, while only giving up 62.9 ppg at home this year. NMST, on the other hand, is ONLY scoring 59.4 ppg on the road, but is giving up over 70 ppg. Midd Tenn St is also 8-1 SU and 3-1 ATS at home. NMST is 2-6 SU and 2-5-1 ATS on the road. In Midd Tenn St's last 5 games, they have been playing good ball going 4-1 SU and ATS. Also in Conf games, they are 3-1 SU and ATS. NMST, on the other hand, in their last 5 games, are 1-4 SU and 1-3 ATS, and have been on a downward slide in both ppg and FG%. During this time where they are averaging a season LOW of 57.8 ppg and just 39% from the field. I dont think anything is going to change over night and definately not against this team on a roll. NMST continues to be a money maker fading them. Today that trend continues for us.
-Arizona St has only gone 1-3 SU and ATS on the road, but they do average more on the road scoring at 69.7 ppg, than Wash St scores at home with 64 ppg. Still, it is in Arizona St's last 5 games played compared to Wash St play in the last 5 games , where I see an advantage here tonight. Ariz St in the last 5 games are averaging more ppg with 75.8, and shooting a higher % from the field at 44.1%. Wash St, on the other hand, not only went 1-4 SU and ATS in their last 5 games, but their average ppg and FG% have fallen to a season low at 53 ppg and 38.1% from the field. Simply put, they are spiraling downwards. Their last lost to in state rival Washington at home, has still got to be hurting them mentally and physically. Making matters worst for them, is Coach Dick Bennett's negative comments made to the media about his team playing selfishly and giving up. In my eyes, it seems that he is right. Additional negatives working against Wash ST in this one is the absence of starting Center Ezenwa Ukeagu who is serving out his final game suspension. Ariz St is 2-0 SU and ATS the last 3 seasons at Wash St. After today's game, you can make that 3-0 SU and ATS for the Sun Devils in Cougar land.
